I’m Nick Croce, a UK web designer. Most designers pick a lane. I didn’t. If Squarespace is the right tool for your business, I’ll build it there properly, as a Squarespace Platinum Partner. If you’ve outgrown it, or need something faster and fully bespoke, I build custom too, and I keep it running.

Onboarding
Book a discovery call to talk through your vision, what the site needs to do, and whether we’re the right fit for each other.
Design & development
Once we’ve agreed the scope and you’ve accepted the proposal, the build begins: custom design, layouts and features, shared with you as it takes shape.
Handover
When you’ve approved the finished website, it goes live. On a custom build you get bespoke handover training, so you feel confident running it yourself. On Managed-For-You, I take it from there.

Do you build websites on Squarespace or custom code?
Both. If Squarespace fits your business (most do), I’ll build there as a Platinum Circle Partner. If you need something faster, fully bespoke, or beyond what Squarespace can do, I build custom too, and manage the hosting, domain and security so you don’t have to think about it.
What does it cost?
Bespoke builds you manage yourself start from £3,000, quoted per project. The Managed-For-You plan starts from £150 a month, billed annually, so the year is paid up front. Either way you get a fixed figure in writing after our first call, before any work starts.
What’s included in the Managed-For-You plan?
Monthly updates, design refinements, bug fixes, performance and Core Web Vitals monitoring, plugin and code checks, and priority support for anything urgent. Essentially, your site stays fast, current and working without you lifting a finger.
Do I have to sign up for the Managed-For-You plan, or can I manage my own site?
Entirely up to you. I build the site either way. Some clients want full control and proper training to run it themselves. Others want to never log in again. If you’re running it yourself, I build it custom in Squarespace, because it’s the easiest platform for a team to update, blog on and sell from. Custom-coded sites come with the Managed-For-You plan, since I look after the hosting and code.
Is a custom-built site better for SEO than Squarespace?
Not automatically; it depends on execution. Squarespace has strong SEO fundamentals out of the box. A custom build gives more control over page speed, schema and technical SEO, which matters more as a site scales. I set both up properly from day one, so the platform isn’t the thing holding your rankings back.
Is the SEO add-on required?
No. The SEO Plan is an optional add-on for Managed-For-You clients, at £500 a quarter. Every quarter it covers a full technical SEO audit with fixes made on the spot, meta and schema updates, a page speed tune-up, an internal linking review, and a plain-English report. Most clients add it once the site’s live and they want to actively grow traffic, not just maintain it.
Do you use AI in the build process?
For custom builds, I use modern development tools to work faster on the technical side, the same way most agencies now do. Every design decision, every piece of copy placement and every finishing touch is still done by me, by hand. Nothing goes live that I haven’t personally built and checked.
Can you migrate my existing site?
Yes, whether that’s moving from WordPress, Wix or Webflow to Squarespace, or moving to a fully custom build managed by me. I’ll review what’s working and what isn’t, and rebuild without you losing the SEO equity you’ve already earned.
How long does a project take?
Most projects take 3 to 6 weeks depending on complexity. Managed-For-You clients don’t have a hard finish line, since I keep working on the site after launch.
